Join us in shaping the future of Vietnamese American education in California schools.   The Vietnamese American Arts and Letters Association (VAALA) partners with the Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) to organize a listening session for community members to review the Vietnamese American Experiences Model Curriculum (VAEMC).

The VAEMC was authorized for the development and maintenance of model curricula relating to the Vietnamese American refugee experience for grades 1-12 in California public schools.

We invite members of the Vietnamese American community to have an opportunity to review and give feedback on the curriculum.   Join us virtually or in-person to share your voice and stories.
