Ms. Watson's most notable roles include the Philadelphia premiere of Joan of Arc in Tchaikovsky's The Maid of Orleans with the Russian Opera Workshop(link is external), Erste Dame in Die Zauberflöte with San Francisco based Waffle Opera, the Mother in Hansel and Gretel, Destino in La Calisto with the San Francisco Conservatory Opera Theater, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with the Lyric Opera Studio of Weimar(link is external), and Madame Forestier in the world premier of Thomas Conroy's The Necklace. She performed with Austin Opera(link is external) in their 2014 production of Verdi's Un ballo in maschera. Gillian was also one of only 32 singers to participate in the OperaWorks' Advanced Artist summer progra m in 2015.
