This summer, Artists Republic Gallery comes together with Hexagon Gallery and Elephants & Castles to showcase Pageant of the Vandals — a group exhibition highlighting Contemporary Street Art. The exhibition centers around the display of the iconic Banksy Haight Street Rat. Banksy originally tagged the rat on the side of a bed and breakfast in San Fransisco in 2010 in conjunction with the release of his documentary film, Exit Through The Gift Shop. Showing alongside the Banksy rat, Elephants & Castles, Hexagon Gallery, and Artists Republic Gallery are curating a group exhibition with renowned street artists including Ben Eine, Zio Ziegler, Beau Stanton, Jeff Gillette, Chad Hasegawa, Lucy Sparrow, Miss Van and more. Works will be rotated every three weeks, allowing various artists to showcase alongside Banksy to emphasize the significance of working street artists in Contemporary Art.
