The Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) at Huntington Beach High School invites you to a dinner theater presentation of “Rumors” written by Neil Simon. The APA Theater Guild is pleased to bring you this hilarious farce directed by Jojo Bogard. At a large, tastefully appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce.

Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken and wife, Chris must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classical farcical hilarity in this Tony Award winning play. There will be six performances in the APA Studio Theater located at 1905 Main Street in HB. The first hour of each performance will feature a food and music pre-show. Showtimes: 6:30pm nightly and 1pm Saturday and Sunday matinees.
