Las Laguna Gallery is proud to announce Lens-flare – A Photography Exhibition.
Commercially introduced to the public in 1839, photography allowed users to record visual images. With its inception photographers quickly learned certain “rules” for the creation of the perfect picture. These “rules” include: Subject, Composition, Focus, Lighting, Approach, and Story.
Las Laguna Gallery solicited artists working with various types of cameras to present the captured image with the intent to provide art that evokes emotion, inspires, or excites. Selected from hundreds of submissions, these twenty artists provided unique interpretation of imagery through their use of photography and mediums.
Works include traditional Photography, Digital Photography, Polaroid, Tintypes and more.
Artists include: Anthony Ambrose, Basar Simsek, Scott Basile, James Crowe, Manuela Durson, Kathleen Elam, Emily Hastings, Gary Irving, Steve Keating, Jack Long, K. Nicholas, Ric MacDowell, Scott Mathews, Qingjian Meng, Anne Oechsli, John O'Neil, Natasha Rudenko, Dominic Rouse, Andrea Zinn.
