Born in Rovigno, D'Istria, Italy, John Budicin moved to California at the age of 11. He is passionate about painting directly from nature, focusing on the relationship between the light and the atmosphere it creates in different locales. John's award-winning work was recently featured in the California Art Club’s 105th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition and is currently part of the Irvine Museum’s "A Summer Idyll”.
