Real Heroes Art Show

Real Heroes Art Show

Presented by Newport Beach Arts Foundation at Newport Beach Public Library

Superheroes do exists, and they have walked among us. They are the Martin Luther King Jr.’s, Albert Einstein’s and Bruce Lee’s. Like many of the superheroes I grew up reading in comic books, these people were not always perfect. They struggled. They made mistakes. And they have failed. But more importantly they got back up and tried and tried again. The original art collection I have created is in honor of what has inspired me throughout the years as an artist, creative director, designer, son, brother, husband, father, mentor, teacher, and friend. It is a creative mash-up of fictional superheroes with real life memorable heroes. I invite you to explore and dive into my creative expression 31 years in the making.

Born and raised in my early years in the Philippines, then my youth, teen and young adult life in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, and now as an adult in Orange County; I have had a very blessed & fortunate life. I look forward to sharing with you my adventurous journey in life that has become the fuel to my creativity. Please join me this THURSDAY, September 15th at 5pm to hear the stories behind my creative expression of the REAL HEROES art show. In the mean time please enjoy the gallery of work and feel free to connect with me through my website & social media. Thank you.
