The Latin American Arts Council of the Bowers Museum (LAAC) presents Premio Agustin Lara, an annual fundraiser supporting the Cultural Arts of Latin America. A romantic musical evening saluting the great Mexican Composer Agustin Lara. Live performances by Lorenzo Negrete (grandson of Jorge Negrete), Marco Antonio Labastida, mariachis and other surprise performances. Honoree Maestro Armando Pesqueira, Director of the Baja California Orchestra will be presented “El Premio Agustin Lara”.
