Orange Coast College invites the community to view Roger Whitridge:  Order and Chaos in the Main Gallery of the Frank M. Doyle Pavillion.  Gallery exhibits and events are always free.  Join us for a Preview Reception on February 1st from 4-6 pm or the Opening Reception on February 3rd from 1-4 pm with a exhibit walkthrough with the artist, too.

“Roger Whitridge: Order and Chaos” is an ongoing painting series. Modern life is a digital tapestry of shifting realities, ideologies, and symbols colliding from both the past and present. The paintings translate these absurd dualites throughout decades, growing more complicated through time and layered painting techniques. These symbols can be mass-consumed from film and television; or emerge from the spiritual, esoteric, and philosophical.
