Make the Bowers Museum your destination on Final Fridays of the month, featuring after-hours access to Asian Comics: Evolution of an Art Form, anime screenings, and a DJ spinning in the galleries. Attendees will be granted free General Admission for dressing up in cosplay.*
Metropolis (2001) - Directed by the celebrated Rintaro, written by Katsuhiro Otomo, creator of Akira, and inspired by a Japanese manga by Osamu Tezuka published in 1949, Metropolis is an acclaimed Japanese anime set in a futuristic, regimented society where human and robots are at odds.
