Join us on the rooftop of the 5th & Spurgeon Parking Structure – that’s the lot directly behind The Frida – for a FREE outdoor presentation of James Gunn’s 2014 hit GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY!

This event is once again FREE thanks to the support of Santa Ana Business Council! Parking at the structure is also FREE! Starting at 6pm, take the elevator or stairs up to the 4th Floor Rooftop of the parking lot located at 301 E. 5th Street – accessible off Spurgeon Street between 4th and 5th Streets – get comfy, grab some food at one of our local restaurants, swing by The Frida for your popcorn, candy, and soda needs, then watch Star-Lord and his crew take on the villainous Ronan starting at 7:30pm!

WHAT TO BRING
Bring a blanket, towel, LOW-BACK chair, or anything else you need to get comfy and enjoy a movie under the stars! Picnic baskets welcome, though neighboring Wursthaus, 4th Street Market, Taquerias Guadalajara, Kiyomizu Sushi, and so many other great restaurants will be open to get your food needs handled! And again, The Frida Cinema is a hop downstairs for your concessions needs!

WHAT’S THE MOVIE ABOUT?
An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance!
