Art Classes presented by Art Innovators

Presented by Imagination Celebration at OC Public Libraries-Westminster Library

The Westminster Library will be hosting a series of four FREE art classes presented by Art Innovators every Thursday in May from 4:00-5:00pm. The classes are open to any children aged 5-12, but space is limited to 20 students, so registration is required. Each class will feature a different artistic method, and students will get the opportunity to create and take home an amazing piece of art! Come to the library or give us a call to sign up!

May 4th, Georgia O'Keefe Flowers: Discover the striking style of this renowned artist who shared her love of flowers and color with the world. Creating your artwork using a textured paper adds to the adventure!

May 11th, Under the Sea Collage: Using a variety of paper shapes and sizes will allow us to create an ocean scene full of creatures both real and imagined!

May 18th, Anime Superhero: Come try out the traditional anime illustration technique that uses strong lines to make bright-eyed superheroes!

May 25th, George Rodrigue's Blue Dog: The final project of our Imagination Celebration series is a wonderful celebration of color. We will use acrylic paints on canvas to create our own vision of a uniquely colored dog!

Sign up for one class, or sign up for all four!
