Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley (MCSV) will perform it’s Spring Concert on Sunday, March 19th at 3:00pm in Mission Viejo.
The Spring Season launch will take place at Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church in Mission Viejo on Sunday, March 19th at 3:00PM. The concert will feature 16 audience favorites from previous concerts over the past three years, including pieces by John Rutter, Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, Samuel Barber, and Johannes Brahms.
A second Spring concert will take place on Sunday, May 7th at Santiago Canyon College and feature a complete performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana with orchestral accompaniment of Symphony Irvine conducted by Dean Anderson and a combined chorale (100+ singers) of MCSV and Orange Community Master Chorale under the direction of Michael Short. The local performance will be followed by a trip to New York City by the three groups for a combined performance of Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall on May 27th.
