Over 200 performers under director Michael Short will present Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana along with the Symphony Irvine performing Ottorino Respighi’s Fountains of Rome.
The Orange Community Master Chorale and Master Chorale of Saddleback Valley are collaborating with Symphony Irvine in a dynamic performance of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. They will be joined by the Southern California Children's Choir. Michael Short will be directing over 200 performers in this memorable event. You will also hear Resphighi's tone poem, Fountains of Rome, under the direction of Dean Anderson, Artistic Director. Carmina Burana will have a repeat performance at Carnegie Hall on May 27.
