A concert celebrating 35 seasons of “Sharing the Joy of Music” with audiences in Southern California and New York City.
The Festival Singers of Orange County, led by Artistic Director Gary Toops with pianist Carol Roman, celebrates its 35th season with a program comprising selections from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music—featuring soloists Erin Pence, Diana Farrell and Daniel Wilson—and songs about music and singing by Randall Thompson, Gwyneth Walker, Joe Raposo and others.
The highlight of the concert is the world premiere of No End to Singing specially commissioned from the eminent composer Daniel E. Gawthrop. His works have premiered in many prestigious venues such as The Kennedy Center, Salt Lake City Mormon Tabernacle and Washington National Cathedral.
Tickets are $15.00, and may be purchased online or at the door.
