Amanda will show you how to simplify your palette and gain a better understanding of transparent and opaque colors. Painting from her own still life setup and a large format picture, Amanda will give a painting demonstration each morning. Each student will be provided with the same printed photograph to paint from. A different grouping of objects will be discussed and painted each day. Simple strategies and plenty of one-on-one instruction will help you master warm shadows, color harmony, brush work, and composition.
