Join ENC Naturalist Valerie Bain on May 28 for a “Tree Hug Hike” out to the Redwood Forest. As your family relaxes on blankets under our tallest trees, Valerie will read "The Raft" by Jim LaMarche, the story of a boy who visits his grandmother over the summer and unexpectedly comes across a raft. Little does he know, the adventure the raft takes him on will lead him to appreciate the natural wonders in life and the people that surround him. After the reading, children and their adults will participate in hands-on activities related to the theme of the book!

Parents remain with children at all times. All ages welcome. Bring your own blanket or towel.
