The public is invited to join us for the gallery reception with the artists to celebrate the opening of LPAPA’s “August Nights” juried art show on Saturday August 12th, 5-8pm. Award winners to be announced at 6:30pm.
"August Nights" is a juried art show of original works of art created by members of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA). The highest scoring paintings are exhibited at the LPAPA in Residence gallery walls at the Forest & Ocean Gallery. An expanded online gallery show includes the gallery artwork as well as a selection from all submitting artists. Paintings are available for sale at the gallery and online. Proceeds from the sale of artwork benefits nonprofit LPAPA and the participating artists.
LPAPA's mission is to promote and preserve the plein air painting tradition and Laguna's artistic legacy established by early plein air artists more than 100 years ago. Please plan to join us in celebrating the legacy...be part of the tradition.
