This year is the 120th year of the First Zionist Congress! How did Theodor Herzl take an old idea and make it relevant in the times of nationalism in the late 1890’s? What is the difference between the numerous streams of Zionism: political, religious, cultural, labor and revisionist? Discuss which stream led to the creation the State of Israel and which stream dominates the modern State.
