Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation Hosts Priceless Gala

Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation Hosts Priceless Gala

Presented by Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation at City National Grove of Anaheim

Orange County Family Justice Center (OCFJC) Foundation  will host its annual fundraising gala on Sunday, October 15 at the City National Grove of Anaheim. An event highlight is a Broadway-caliber performance produced by Olympic gold medalist and award-winning Broadway actress Cathy Rigby and the McCoy Rigby Conservatory of the Arts. The four-part custom theatrical performance with dancers, actors and silk aerialists is an adaptation of the 1920’s romantic musical Moulin Rouge. Its story line and message based on love, trust and freedom will convey that every person is “Priceless,” the theme of the event.

Hosted by American television personality and country singer, Matt Rogers, all proceeds will support the programs and services of the OCFJC Foundation that serve survivors of family violence, child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse and sexual assault.

The Foundation’s Partner of the Year Award will be presented to Wylie and Bette Aitken for their support of the organization and mission since its inception. The Orange County philanthropists support the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law Family Protection Clinic that bears the Aitken name at the Family Justice Center located in Anaheim. The Aitkens recently lead a major campaign for Laura’s House to provide transitional housing for victims of domestic abuse.

OCFJC Foundation Board of Trustee Gianna Solari Richards will receive the John Welter Community Partnership Award in recognition of her contributions, support and dedication of the Foundation over the past decade. The award is named for former Anaheim Police Chief John Welter who recognized the need for the OCFJC and was instrumental in its formation. As president of Solari Enterprises, Solari Richards is a leader in the development of affordable housing nationwide and has served as Treasurer of the OCFJC Foundation for almost ten years.

More than 400 of individuals are expected at the black tie optional affair with cocktail reception, dinner, silent and live auctions and live theatrical performance. Individual tickets are $275 and the City National Grove of Anaheim is located at 2200 E Katella Ave in Anaheim.
