"My Grandpa Was Bugs Bunny!" The Legacy of Chuck Jones and One Gray Hare

Presented by Muckenthaler Cultural Center, The at Muckenthaler Cultural Center

Chuck Jones' grandson and president of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity in Costa Mesa, Craig Kausen, not only speaks of his grandfather's legacy as the animation director of such notable cartoon characters as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Elmer Fudd; he  is also the creator of Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew, and Michigan J. Frog.  He'll also discuss Jones' influenceon contemporary animators, directors, and artists as well as his impact on other disciplines.  After the presentation and a short film tribute to Chuck's life, we will hold a question and answer session (remember to ask Craig how Chuck learned to draw the White Seal).  You won't want to miss this fascinating look at one of the architects of American POP Culture!
