The Newport Beach City Arts Commission presents the 2014 Newport Beach Art Exhibition on Saturday, June 14 at the Newport Beach Civic Center. The exhibition will feature original paintings, photography and sculpture recently created by over 100 artists.

On Saturday afternoon the Exhibition and Sale will be open to the public from 1-6 p.m. Guests will be able to view the artwork, meet the artists and purchase some of the original artwork that will be on display. A portion of the proceeds from the art sale will fund Newport Beach community arts programs.

The event will include an awards presentation and reception at 4:30 p.m. Newport Beach City Council members and City Arts Commission members will present first, second, third place awards in the categories of Painting/Mix Media, Photography, and Sculpture. “Judge’s Choice” and “People’s Choice” awards will also be presented at the reception.

Artists who would like to participate should review the Call for Entries information on the Cultural Arts website or pick up an entry form at any Newport Beach Public Library location or City Hall.
