UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts presents Summer Academies in the Arts – college and career preparatory intensives in Art, Dance, Drama, Music and Technology for students ages 8-22 years old.
The only Orange County university to offer a program of this kind, the Summer Academies in the Arts offers intensive courses focused on enhancing 21st century skills, supporting college and career goals, and building self-confidence and leadership.
Students get to experience life as an undergraduate arts major, in which they receive practical and technical instruction in small classes taught by UC Irvine graduate instructors, professionals in the field and esteemed faculty. With rigorous college-level coursework, the option to receive university credit, social and professional networking, and even having the opportunity to reside on campus, this immersive summer experience is the perfect place for learning and development in a fun, challenging environment!
