It’s a frosty May morning, the cherry trees are in bloom and a destitute Russian aristocrat returns to her decaying ancestral home with her daughter, still grief-stricken by the premature death of her son five years earlier. The family’s financial crisis forces them to sell their estate at public auction to pay off their debts and as the woodmen’s axes crash into the falling trees to make way for a housing development, the family must decide on their prospects for happiness and how to rebuild their lives and fortunes.

Parking for Performances: Parking on weekends is free starting at 5 pm, Fridays. At all other times, daily permits are required and can be purchased for $8 upon entering the parking structure. Cash is not accepted. Visa, MasterCard and Discover only.
