Natalia Osipova, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre and The Royal Ballet, and Ivan Vasiliev, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, are without peers as today’s greatest dance couple. They perform throughout the world to sold-out houses and standing ovations, including many performances at Segerstrom Center. They have appeared here in with the Bolshoi Ballet, in the Tour de Force dance galas and Reflections. At the Center, Osipova starred in the world premiere of ABT’s production of Firebird, choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky. Vasiliev danced in the second Kings of the Dance. For their return to the Center, they will perform Roland Petit’s Carmen for the first time in their careers along with Ballet San Jose, plus two world premieres by award winning choreographers Ohad Naharin and Arthur Pita.
