Relax with friends and family at, Summer Jazz on the Argyros Plaza, a thrilling selection of free outdoor jazz concerts every Friday evening through August 10 on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza featuring acclaimed artists across the genre. From crooners to singers, up and comers to all-stars, our summer lineup is unrivaled and will be hosted by radio personality Bubba Jackson who will keep you in the mood for a new flavor of Jazz every week.

Danilo Lozano is a two-time Grammy Award-winning flautist and music professor. A founding member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Lozano is best known for his work with Latin jazz and Cuban charanga music. He has performed with some of the greatest artists in the genre among them Celia Cruz, Poncho Sanchez, Latin Side All Stars, Israel Lopez "Cachao," and was a featured artist on the soundtrack for Andy Garcia's film The Lost City.

Dayren Santamaria will open for Danilo Lozano. Santamaria is a classically-trained violinist who performed with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Havana and the Camerata Romeu chamber music group in her native Cuba. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Santamaria has worked with Cuban émigré Andy Garcia as well as the Grammy-nominated Latin jazz ensemble Mongorama.
