Music from the early Baroque period, featuring the cornetto and the sackbut in selections from Gabrieli, Merula, Marini, Cavalli, Frescobaldi, Castello, Falconieri and Uccellini. With Alexandra Opsahl, cornetto; Ian Pritchard, harpsichord; Nicholas Daley, sackbut; and strings.
