Specifically for: Infants (birth -12 months), Young Toddlers (12-24 months), Toddlers (2-4 years), Preschoolers (4-5 years); Grown-ups Join Pretend City for a fun Way To Play Day, which is specially designed to assist parents in finding answers to questions about their child’s development through fun activities. With Pretend City’s Way To Play Adventure Guide, there are activities to enhance your play at Pretend City. Good To Go From Head To Toe, Pretend City’s child development initiative, together with Pretend City’s play partners, are here to assist you with: ? ASQ Developmental Check-ups from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m.: Assess speech, motor, cognitive and social areas (first come, first served; limited spaces available) Play Partner: Good To Go From Head To Toe Team Grown-up Tip: Today focus your play on the Build-A-thon area. Extra large soft blocks are fun for children as young as 13 months old to climb on, pick-up and carry. Children as young as 15-18 month old will enjoy activities that older children enjoy too, like building tall towers and structures. Watch children work on their large motor skills as they balance while standing, bending, squatting, and reaching. RSVP: Not required Fee: Check-ups and activities are included with museum admission
