If you are a food lover, this is an event not to be missed! Event attendees can sample up to 100 different delicious dishes, and participate in both a silent auction and an opportunity drawing for three separate $500 cash prizes!
This delightful, taste-filled event brings together over 350 hungry members of the public and approximately 100 amateur chefs, a.k.a. “Gourmet Guys”, community leaders from local businesses, the City of La Habra and civic organizations, who compete for top recognition of their signature gourmet dishes.
“Gourmet Guys” compete in 14 categories, from appetizers to desserts, and are judged by area professional chefs. It’s like “an Olympics of Cooking” with gold, silver and bronze medals being awarded to category winners. Past winners have included a savory Moussaka, scrumptious Chocolate Covered Bacon, and spicy Chorizo Paella.

All proceeds from the event benefit The Children’s Museum at La Habra, one of the most unique, educational and cultural resources for young children in Southern California.
