Salem Cade received her Master of Fine Arts in painting and drawing from Laguna College of Art & Design. She teaches at the Mt. San Jacinto College and offers private instruction for children and adults. Salem's current body of work explores figurative and still life subjects in oil, pastel and charcoal. In this workshop, Salem will not only teach you how to use pastels, but how to accurately draw the human face by using correct proportions and incorporating vivid color into all of your drawings. This class will show you how to utilize this fun and versatile medium while creating a beautiful finished portrait using hard and soft chalk pastels.
