Metal Extinction Art Exhibit

Presented by Saddleback College at Saddleback College Art Gallery

Using Metal to Honor and Make Permanent our Vanishing World

Exhibition Sponsored by: Metal Arts Society of Southern California (masscoline.com)

The Metal Arts Society of Southern California (MASSC) is honored to present its premier national juried exhibition which was open to those working in the field of Jewelry, Metalsmithing, and Enameling. Over 50 original works will be displayed and also many will be for sale to the public. The distinguished panel of jurors includes David Freda, Barbara Hendricks, and Marne Ryan. “MASSC challenged the artists to honor and commemorate extinct and endangered species in works of metal that show mastery in technique to the beauty and grace of the vanishing natural world.” Concurrently featured will be the award winners from a jewelry competition highlighting works done by students of the Saddleback College jewelry classes and the Emeritus classes.
