The Philharmonic Society’s 2014-15 season finale concert is a special tribute to Orange County’s own maestro, Carl St.Clair, who celebrates his milestone 25th anniversary as music director of the Pacific Symphony. St.Clair will lead members of the Pacific Symphony in a performance of hand-picked works by Bach and Mozart.

St.Clair, who studied conducting under Leonard Bernstein, has been general music director and chief conductor of the German National Theater and Staatskapelle Weimar, general music director for the Komische Oper in Berlin, and principal guest conductor of the Radio Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart. He currently also serves as music director of the National Symphony Orchestra in Costa Rica.
