DAX Gallery presents a collection of artists who will showcase their work, called "The Stuff', in tribute of their late professor, Michael E. Mitchell. For many of the CalArts alumni the BODY OF THE PALACE was a room where they had epiphanies that dramatically changed their perspective. Mitchell could often be heard motivating his students by saying, “That’s the stuff!”. He always encouraged greatness, pushed creative boundaries, and he was a master at recognizing and nurturing natural talent.
