First Thursdays Art Walk

at Laguna Art Museum

On September 5, the museum hosts Laguna Dance Festival for a dynamic display of dance and art with contemporary performances by dancers from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance.

Performances take place inside the museum at 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.

Now on view, I Will Not Make Any More Boring Art: Prints by John Baldessari from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation includes over seventy works by the most revered and influential figures in contemporary California art; Sculptures by Gwynn Murrill is the first exhibition to present work from the artist’s entire career, spanning the early 1970s to today; and Self-Help Graphics, 1983-1991 highlights a selection of prints from the East LA printmaking workshop and arts center that emerged from the Chicano movement of the 1960s.

Admission Info

The museum offers free admission from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and docents are available for tours.
