After last season’s popular debut performance at the Musco Center, Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra returns to perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, one of the most beautiful and exciting works written for orchestra.
Now in their sixth season and recognized as one of the world’s fastest emerging conductorless orchestras, Kaleidoscope has been critically acclaimed in the LA Times, Washington Post, and Symphony Magazine. The program also features works for voice and orchestra with award-winning sopranos Alisa Jordheim (USA), Axelle Fanyo (France), and Jerica Steklasa (Slovenia), selected from Kaleidoscope’s international vocal competition, which received 1,600 applications from musicians in over 90 countries.
