In this course, students will learn all the skills needed to begin using colored pencils. Using this versatile and fascinating medium, beginners will acquire foundational techniques and skills while those more experienced students will explore a range of new applications.
Supply List:
Colored Pencils: Professional grade such as Prismacolor, Caran D'ache, Pablo, etc. in any size set (48 is recommended). Prismacolor cool grey pencils including 10%, 20% and 90%.
Paper: Hot press watercolor paper or *other drawing surface of your choosing. (*must be smooth, no cold press paper).
Other: Plastic Eraser, Kneaded Eraser, Drafting or other soft brush, pencil sharpener, ruler, HB graphite pencil.
Notes:
Please note that there is a required supply list for this workshop. A short lunch break will be taken during the class. Layers are recommended as the rooms tend to be a bit cool.
