True abstract art not only utilizes flexibility and freedom; it also employs bold uses of color, line, pattern, form, process and composition.
Abstract art does not deliver a precise depiction of realism, but rather suggests forms and structures that suggest some essential nature of a subject. Abstract artists often use patterns or colors to incite emotion, a recollection, or relate to some sort of sensory input that you may have experienced previously.
This exhibition will run the entire month of July at Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach.

Las Laguna Gallery is dedicated to the exploration and engagement of contemporary and fine art visual culture – regionally, nationally and internationally; through unique collaborations between artists, students and the community. Laguna Beach is a seaside resort city located in southern Orange County, California, in the United States. It is known for a mild year-round climate, scenic coves, environmental preservation, and an artist community.
Our gallery provides opportunities for artists to show in a normally closed gallery community environment. Each month we have themed exhibitions and choose a vast variety of works from mediums. Our locations is situated overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offers live music nightly which helps increase exposure of art to a wider audience.
Las Laguna Gallery is located on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Village. Laguna Village is an artist alcove that offers artist galleries, jewelry shops, and unique specialty stores. Situated on a cliff; Laguna Village is one of the only three locations in Laguna Beach that offers unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. This gallery located in Central Laguna feature is valet parking, a restaurant and bar, and there is live music in the fire-side theatre nightly. Las Laguna Gallery is a member of ArtWalk Laguna Beach and this location is part of the free trolley system that runs through Laguna Beach.
