House on Haunted Hill (1959) is an American horror film starring Vincent Price. Price plays an eccentric millionaire, Frederick Loren, who invites five guests to his home for a spooky game: survive a night in the ‘haunted mansion’ and receive $10,000 each. Things get even spookier when the Guest of Honor, Loren’s estranged wife Annabelle, hatches a plot with her secret lover to murder her husband in the darkest hour.
