The Commanders, the US Air Force’s official regional jazz ensemble, performs a free evening concert at Musco Center.
Drawn from the Air Force’s Band of the Golden West, the Commanders carry on the tradition of the legendary Big Bands, with traditional and cool jazz, bop, swing, Broadway favorites, and patriotic music.
In addition to performing for civilian communities in five western states the band supports a numerous Air Force bases, Air Force Reserve Wings, and recruiting squadrons with more than 250 annual performances for 1.5 million fans. Come early and enjoy the Scout rally outside on the Aitken Arts Plaza.
Musco Center offers assistive listening devices that may be checked out free of charge at the Box Office on the 1st floor plaza level.
