Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble’s 2014-15 season celebrates the appointment of Music Director Gregory X. Whitmore with a stimulating concert entitled, “Exclamations!” This program is finely framed by two significant works by Alfred Reed, the hymn of praise Alleluia! Laudemus Te! and the folk songs Armenian Dances. In the center are the poetic Lux Aurumque by Eric Whitacre and March of the Boyars by Halvorsen.
