Dan Frechette & Laurel Thomsen in concert with special guest Beth Fitchet-Wood

Meeting via a chance YouTube sighting, despite their living 2,000 miles apart, Dan Frechette, celebrated Winnipeg singer-songwriter discovered Laurel Thomsen, American genre-bending violinist. The Alt-folk duo in 2013 alone circumnavigated North America, performing over 130 concerts and producing their debut CD “Dan and Laurel.” They delight their audiences with exuberance, heartwarming harmonies, soundtrack ready violin and guitar lines, and stories of irony and triumph, wit and humor. Beth Fitchet Wood is an outstanding singer, guitarist, composer and producer and long time friend of The Living Tradition. She was in the Southern California band "Honk" and toured nationally with Loggins and Messina, Chicago and the Beach Boys. She has toured the world as a background vocalist and assistant producer.
