POSTPONED - Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra with Sheku Kanneh-Mason

Presented by Philharmonic Society of Orange County and Imagination Celebration at Unknown

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County regrets to announce that the remainder of its 2019-20 season performances will be postponed.  Due to the increasing concerns regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and California Governor Gavin Newsom’s recent state of emergency declaration and order for all residents to stay at home until further notice, the Philharmonic Society is actively exploring the possibility of reengaging artists for future performances, with exact dates still to be determined.

His performance at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Windsor Castle was greeted with universal excitement after being watched by nearly two billion people globally. His debut recording for Decca Classics, Inspiration (released January 2018), featured Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Mirga Gražinyte-Tyla. In addition to being the highest-charting BBC Young Musician on the UK's Official Albums Chart, Sheku Kanneh-Mason is also the first BBC Young Musician to break into the albums Top 40 with their debut record.
