The Newport Beach City Arts Commission presents an end of summer concert on Sunday, September 29 beginning at 4 p.m. at Marina Park Community Center.  The concert will featuring the Neil Diamond Tribute band with performing artist Jason Lohrke bringing the early years of Neil Diamond’s electrifying concerts to life.

The captivating retro concert will be held outdoors on the grass at Marina Park, 1600 W. Balboa Blvd. Newport Beach.  Timeless Neil Diamond classics such as Solitary Man, Cherry Cherry, I’m A Believer, Cracklin’ Rosie, Holly Holy, Sweet Caroline, and so many more, will be recreated for a magical evening on the Balboa Peninsula.

The concert is free and open to the public. Parking is limited, but there is plenty of bike parking available. Attendees are encouraged to bring low-slung beach chairs or a blanket to sit on the grass for an enjoyable evening of music. Bring a picnic dinner, buy food from a food truck on-site or enjoy dinner at a local restaurant after the show.  No alcohol.
