Tabula Poetica presents author Shauna Barbosa, who will give a poetry talk titled “Unbordered: Breaking Down the Poetic Image” followed by a poetry reading.
Shauna Barbosa is a poet from Boston, Massachusetts. She is the author of the poetry collection Cape Verdean Blues (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2018). Her poems have appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, Poetry Society of America, PBS Newshour, Literary Hub, Lenny Letter, and many others. She is a 2018 Disquiet International Luso-American fellowship recipient. Shauna received her MFA from Bennington College in Vermont and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Each visiting poet will give a Poetry Talk at 2:30 p.m. in the Fish Interfaith Center Founders Chapel and a Poetry Reading at 7 p.m. in the Center for American War Letters in the lower level of Leatherby Libraries.
