Buena Park Youth Theatre presents “Beauty and the Beast.” Disney’s Beauty And The Beast offers a great opportunity to bring the entire community together for family theatre at its best!
ABOUT THE SHOW
Disney’s classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Disney’s Beauty And The Beast offers a great opportunity to bring the entire community together for family theatre at its best!
ABOUT BUENA PARK YOUTH THEATRE
Founded in 1981 by former elementary school teacher Ruth Walp, the Buena Park Youth Theatre was a direct result of the budgetary cutbacks in fine arts education in public schools. Since then, the program has produced fully staged Broadway musicals with over 7000 children and teens having participated over the years.
