Irvine Barclay's 2020 Hawaiian Music Masters Series continues with Hawaii's Kings of Swing - KAHULANUI. Their energy and dynamic musical arrangements have caused a sensation throughout the Islands and across America. The Grammy-nominated nine-piece band—four horns plus guitar, bass, ukulele, drums and steel—blends traditional Hawaiian music and the big band swing of the 1920s and ‘30s to create a sound that’s all their own—invigorating, vibrant and timeless.
Kahulanui’s CD, Mele Ho'oilina, was awarded the 2018 Na Hoku Hanohano Award (Hawai'i’s Grammy) for Best Jazz Album of the Year and is Hawaiian swing at its finest!
