"Two Years Before the Mast" Reading Marathon

Presented by Dana Point Historical Society at Nature Interpretive Center

 Celebrating Richard Henry Dana's bicentennial year, the Dana Point Historical Society presents its fifth annual public reading of the complete text of Dana's Two Years Before the Mast.  Participants read in succession for 8 to 10 minutes each; shown reading is Carlos Olvera, Dana Point Mayor.  This year's reading will be held on Friday, March 27 from 1 to 4 pm, Saturday, March 28 from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, March 29 from 9 am until the book is complete, around noon.
