Parenting OC's Annual Summer Opportunities Jamboree will give parents a chance to meet and talk with exhibitors representing local summer camps, sports teams, family travel destinations, activities and school summer programs. There will also be an entertainment stage featuring acts like YouTube sensation Skylar Stecker, pop duo SharpTurnAhead, MasterChef Junior contestant Sean Le, dancers from the Thistle Academy of Irish Dance, UC Irvine’s Jodaiko Japanese drummers, the TVT Garage Band, rock band Lost in Atlantis and more as well as sports demos and contests. The event is also home to the annual Fifth-Grade Spelling Bee, where third through fifth graders compete for prizes, and a Cute Kid Cover Contest, made possible with the help of our photographer Ana Brandt.
