In the Valley of the Shadow
Set in an LGBT nightclub changes everything: love becomes hate, hate becomes love, and lives are snuffed out in a matter of seconds. Told from the perspective of the survivors of a homophobic massacre, as well as in flashbacks featuring those who lost their lives, playwright Katherine Cortez crafts an engrossing and emotional theatrical experience set against the backdrop of a senseless, tragic event.
