This first event of the Festival’s landmark year is led by artistic director Elizabeth Blumenstock on violin, and features the internationally renowned Baroque bassoonist Dominic Teresi, recorder player Alexandra Opsahl and Baroque oboist Stephen Hammer plus ensemble in performances of solo and chamber concertos by Fasch, Telemann and Vivaldi—including the Venetian composer’s dramatic recorder concerto La Tempesta di Mare.
